"Think you can't change the world? Too late, you already have. It was changed for the better the minute you were born. There are more people than you can imagine who will never be the same because they came in contact with you, if only for a fleeting moment." ~Gail Purcell

Makes Me Happy Monday 8/2

(OMG, did I just type AUGUST!!? I just can't believe that July is over......)

Today I just want to say how happy I am to be sewing/creating again. I have done more sewing in the six months (+/-) that I have been blogging than I have done in the previous 3 years combined!!

The encouragement, friendship and sense of community that I have found has been an inspiration to me. The generosity of bloggers sharing their talents via tutorials, advice and free patterns astounds me. The quilt alongs, swaps, give aways and "Linkys" show everyone's friendly, neighborly spirit.

Without all of the wonderful people I have met, my sewing machine would probably still be gathering dust! Instead I have already finished several small projects and have several more in varying stages of completion. (Flickr)

I just wanted to say, I couldn't have done it without you. Thank you all for making me VERY happy!! And I hope that in some small way, I can return the favor!

PS: Check out this NEW BLOG!! Very talented!

PS: 2.5 " Squares for Hexies Swap HERE  There will be prizes too
