Friday Fun

Finally got myself up into my sewing room!
Finished putting my Jelly Roll Sampler together. Doesn't look too bad now with the sashing and borders. I decided to just make 9 out of the 12 blocks since I wasn't loving my fabric (Charisma by Moda). Still made a nice sized lap quilt.

There will be prizes if you want to join in!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

  3. I think Pam is right--The border color brings out the colors of the quilt! It looks good. Sometimes I have ended up working on a project where I decided I didn't like the fabric or the pattern. I guess that's when we give it away!

I like the quote at the end. I hope to be able to do that on Saturday!

  5. The center block is my favorite. Is that why you put it there? I'm glad you found a way to finish the top that worked for you.
