"Think you can't change the world? Too late, you already have. It was changed for the better the minute you were born. There are more people than you can imagine who will never be the same because they came in contact with you, if only for a fleeting moment." ~Gail Purcell

Friday Fun

Finally got myself up into my sewing room!
Finished putting my Jelly Roll Sampler together. Doesn't look too bad now with the sashing and borders. I decided to just make 9 out of the 12 blocks since I wasn't loving my fabric (Charisma by Moda). Still made a nice sized lap quilt.

There will be prizes if you want to join in!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

  1. I'm so happy to hear you were able to get sewing!!! I love your quilt and that aqua color is really speaking to me!

  3. I think Pam is right--The border color brings out the colors of the quilt! It looks good. Sometimes I have ended up working on a project where I decided I didn't like the fabric or the pattern. I guess that's when we give it away!

I like the quote at the end. I hope to be able to do that on Saturday!

  4. Your quilt turned out so pretty! Love it!
Will have to check out Pat.

  5. The center block is my favorite. Is that why you put it there? I'm glad you found a way to finish the top that worked for you.

  6. I like the border and I think it looks very cozy.

  7. Your jelly roll quilt along turned out so nice!!

  8. Your JR quilt looks wonderful. I still have one block to go and then hopefully will put it together when I go to a retreat the following weekend!! (that's the plan anyway!!). You have done an awesome job xx

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. You made my day!
