"Think you can't change the world? Too late, you already have. It was changed for the better the minute you were born. There are more people than you can imagine who will never be the same because they came in contact with you, if only for a fleeting moment." ~Gail Purcell

Wednesday WIP

So, I seem to have lots of irons in the fire right now... and today I did some catching up...

The first blocks in my Pinwheel Sampler Quilt Along from p.s i quilt:(Verna fabrics)

My February block for Pat Sloans Calendar Quilt along:

And I just started a BOM with Val. I still have to do the embroidery; I've traced the design in blue. Going to add some buttons too, I think...

Was a snowy, sleety, rainy, raw day today.... good day to be in the sewing room!

  3. Your pinwheel sampler blocks look great. I had to comment b/c I went to my quilt shop today to get a Verna layer cake. They were sold out, and I was too impatient to order online, so I went with another fabric combo (Wild Thyme). I'll be anxious to see how your Verna blocks look as you go along. I think those are perfect fabrics for this playful, modern, pinwheel theme.

This will be a fun sampler! I'm anxious to get started on mine.
