"Think you can't change the world? Too late, you already have. It was changed for the better the minute you were born. There are more people than you can imagine who will never be the same because they came in contact with you, if only for a fleeting moment." ~Gail Purcell

Quilt Camp

I never went to camp as a kid......no don't feel sorry for me!!! Most summers we went to visit my grandparents who lived on a real farm with cows and chickens, so I didn't miss out :)

BUT I did get to go to Camp Sloan this weekend for a stash busting quilting weekend. Her pattern was SO easy even a beginner like me could knock out 24 blocks in less than a day!! wowser!

I've been playing around with the blocks in several different arrangements.... thought I was going to go with this one, until I saw one of the other ladies' had hers in a pin wheel setting.... so will try that later and see how it looks. But I have never gotten so much piecing done in one day.

So off to bed to sleep on it .....

  1. Fantastic job! So many possibilities with these types of blocks. This pattern looks good, can't wait to see which you decide.

  2. Very pretty and such vibrant colors ...I can't wait to see what you decide on the setting.

  3. Great job let us see the finished product!

  4. I can't wait to see what you decide to do as well...glad you had a good sew day!!

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. You made my day!
