Hitting those "milestone" birthdays didn't bother me at all either, most of the time I have to look at the calendar to figure out how old I really am!
How old do you feel?? This all goes back to a positive outlook on life..... focus on finding something to be grateful for each day and make the best of each day.
"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little,
and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick,
and if we got sick, at least we didn't die;
so, let us all be thankful. "

A friend sent me this video from You Tube..... She is a 92 year old grandma and he is her 29 year old great-nephew. They make quite a couple and I wish I had 1/2 of her energy!
Watch it all the way to the end, you will be grinning from ear to ear......

I feel 16....but my body sometimes tells me differently, especially when I look in the mirror...HA!!
ReplyDeleteYour post made me SMILE! I swear those were my words! I too have to calculate my age. And I certainly don't feel my age. I feel like I between my late 20's and mid 30's...depends on the day...TOO FUNNY!
ReplyDeleteNot only do I wish to have 1/2 her energy & wish I could look that good. Thanks for sharing this video, I would have never seen it because I don't surf u tube.
That was amazing, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI think I feel about 10-15 years younger than I am. I always remember that it is a gift to grow old, not every one gets the opportunity! So getting older doesn't bother me.
That's one of my favorite Buddha quotes.
ReplyDeleteI love that quote and I love your post. In my mind, I feel like I'm in my late 20's - mid 30's, but my body is really starting to creak and groan and it tells me I am LONG past the 20's and 30's!!!
ReplyDeletei love that quote!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comments! Good luck in the giveaway! There will be many more on my blog in the next few weeks!
Thanks, Katie

Fantastic - the lady are truly amazing. Easy to see the lady was a professional latin dancer - but so cool the still dance even she´s getting older. Dance its life, no doubt about that!
