How I Spent My Day Off

Today schools were closed for Election Day, and boy did I ever have some fun!


I got these cleaned at 9AM:



Had this cleaned and serviced for the winter at 12 Noon:


Went to the doctor for a follow up appointment at 2PM

And went to vote at 3PM





Came home to feed myself and the starving masses.

(um, I really don't have this many cats!)






Then it was time to RELAX!

(my boys)


So why does it feel like I got nothing done today!??

    You did. Honest, you did. It just doesn't feel like it. Your teeth thank you, you will have heat this winter, and just think how happy those starving masses are :-)

    There are days like that--where you work hard all day, feel very tired and STILL didn't seem to get a blessed thing done. Oh, well. At least the cats are happy and you did your part to preserve democracy.

    You guys get an entire day off - to vote? That is awesome! Is this schools only? We are supposedly allowed to get 1 hour to go to our designated voting station which in my husbands and mine's case is more then an hours worth of time to get to, vote and get back to work without being penalized/docked pay. Can you vote at any voting station? Fascinating. I really needed to vote this year, this city needed a change - sadly, I could not get there and the election has closed. There is no change here...so sad.
    I think you got lots done! Sounds like it was a busy day.

    Oh wow, what a busy day! Just having your teeth cleaned at 9:00 a.m. would be enough for me! LOL!!! You really did get a lot done. (And I have always loved that pic of all of those kitties! Too cute!)

    I always hate being in the dentist's chair, but love how my mouth feels after.
