"Think you can't change the world? Too late, you already have. It was changed for the better the minute you were born. There are more people than you can imagine who will never be the same because they came in contact with you, if only for a fleeting moment." ~Gail Purcell

What's New Wednesday

I have to admit, I do  A LOT of shopping on line. (a.l.o.t.) I love browsing, comparison shopping, reading customer reviews, etc. I don't have to fight the crowds and I can find a wider variety of just about anything on line.

Thanks to blogging and sites like Etsy I can also give the smaller entrepreneurs some of my business, without ever leaving home.

Last year at Christmas I found quite a few of my gifts on Etsy, home made and beautiful! And considering the amazing workmanship, the prices were more than reasonable.

Today I wanted to share one of the  small businesses from whom I recently made a purchase.

I purchased some name stickers for both my classroom and my daughter's room as well as a self-inking stamp for my books (This book belongs to). The prices were very reasonable, and the print quality is first rate.  The thoughtful, creative packaging really caught my attention and made me smile (Purple and green tissue paper with pink paper "curlicues". sweet!)
They have lots of great gifts for teachers, but there are gifts for everyone on your list! The holidays are fast approaching, so you may want to check it out.

I am not getting anything in return for this little commercial, but after opening my package today I just had to share!!

Have fun shopping! (and if you haven't shopped Etsy yet, check that out too)

  1. Very kind of you to share this! I, too, do most of my shopping, um ... drooling, online. I love to compare prices and items and see what is available that isn't available in my neck of the way-back-out-there woods. So, thank you again and I'm going to go check out your recommendation :) Super day to you!!

  2. I am shopping only from local businesses, small businesses that sell handcrafted items, (translates no big box stores) and Etsy folks for the holidays this year...

  3. I, like you, do a lot of shopping on-line. In fact, I do most of my shopping on-line as I hate "going" shopping! I love Etsy! There are so many wonderful and unique things and I love to support the small entrepreneurs and their handmade wares! Thanks for taking time to post about this!

    XOXO,
