Spring 2010 Blogger Quilt Festival

Amy's Creative Side is hosting another Blogger Quilt Festival. It is so much fun visiting blogs and checking out all the beautiful quilts!






I would like to share one of the first quilts I made! It is a flag quilt constructed from log cabin blocks and friendship stars (beginner friendly). 
I think that is is the "It's a Grand Old Flag" from The Whole Country Caboodle. The fabrics were probably from Joannes. I did the quilting in a curvy pattern, trying to follow the stripes, but I didn't even have a walking foot at this point in my quilting career!
I love this little quilt and I keep this out most of the year!
