Thank you for stopping by and making my Monday extremely happy!! I love to be able to give back to the universe that has been SO very generous to me....
I hope that you will leave a comment and tell me a little tidbit about yourself, or where you are from.
I have met SO many amazing people from places around the world that I am sad to admit that I had never heard of. (In my Flag counter country list.... "Jersey, population about 91,000, Jersey and the other Channel Islands represent the last remnants of the medieval Dukedom of Normandy that held sway in both France and England. These islands were the only British soil occupied by German troops in World War II. Jersey is a British crown dependency but is not part of the UK or of the European Union. However, the UK Government is constitutionally responsible for its defense and international representation. ) wOw!!! Geography is NOT one of my strong points.
Now on to the give away! I have a wonderful bag pattern from Sewphisti-cat, designed by Purse-O-Nalities.
The bag on the front of the package is shown in cat material, but there are other examples shown on the back with different trims and fabrics. Isn't this an adorable bag?!!!
Front
Back
I also am including some great fabrics from my LQS! (4 fat quarters) You can use these to make your bag, or you can use them for something else fun!
Now for the rules!
1. Please leave one comment below, about anything, but I would love to hear something about YOU or the place you live.... (gotta work on my geography skills)
2. PLEASE include your email address so I can get in touch with you. (if you include spaces or write the words "at" and "dot" spam-bots won't see it.)
3. The give away will be open 5/17 until 5/20 at midnight Eastern US time.
4. I will choose a winner randomly, and post the winner sometime on 5/21.
5. I WILL mail anywhere!
Thanks for stopping by and Good Luck!!

I guess I'm #1! Lovely giveaway you've got happening. My grandparents used to vacation on Jersey many years ago, always sounded like a neat place. I grew up in Nova Scotia, but now live in British Columbia, and love to quilt & sew! Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win this one!!! I'm Shruti, and I live in India. I'm an architect by profession, but am taking a sabbatical from my work for a while. During this time, I've started a new venture - Shruti's the 'up'cycle shop... I have employed women from the slums fo my city to 'up'cycle old clothes into beautiful items.
ReplyDeleteYou can read more about it on my blog

ReplyDeleteI live on the Gulf Coast of Florida.

I'm 1 1/2 hours southeast-ish from Tucson, about 12 miles above the border. When we first moved here 2 years ago I got lost and ended up at the border by accident! Thanks for a chance to win! I enjoy your blog a lot!
ReplyDeleteAww that bag is sweet! I'm in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada - for those geographically challenged, Manitoba is in the middle of Canada and Winnipeg is in the middle of Manitoba. We like to think we're the centre of Canada and that makes us very important hehehe

ReplyDeleteMy life is a walking geography lesson, so get your map ready! I currently live on Awaji Island, Japan. It's the island that is skinny on the top and fat at the bottom between Kobe/Osaka and Shikoku. It may sound familiar because the epicenter of the big earthquake that devastated Kobe in 1995 was right here!
Before we moved here, we lived in Tokyo, LA, San Jose, Ogaki, and Nagoya. I must say I am happiest here because it is rural and I am a country girl hailing from Oregon City, Oregon.
Now grab a cup of coffee, put away your map pointing finger and rest your eyes after peering at all those tiny letters on your map. Come and visit me on my blog anytime. I'd love to see you!
I love the bags and I love cats! What could be better?! Live on an acreage on a beautiful island off the coast of British Columbia, Canada....along with the resident deer, our 5 goats, a small dog and a BIG cat!

Such a lovely giveaway! I'm not too strong on my geography anymore either.... I'm in Alberta, Canada! 2nd province in from the west coast.
ReplyDeleteI am from central Texas and it's hot here! It's so humid all the time - like breathing in the air from laundry dryer exhaust - and when it rains it rains sideways like a monsoon and floods all the roads. I am returning to north east Texas where it is slightly less humid and the rain is less scary. Thanks for sharing :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely giveaway! I'm from Kuna, Idaho, a mother to nine wonderful children, and a needleworker, sewer, crafter, dreamer!

ReplyDeleteHi! I live in Boise, Idaho. I have four cats, even though we swore we would never have more than three. It's my husbands fault! We fostered a little black cat, and when it was time for him to go back to the shelter... my husband wanted to keep him. :) We'd fostered before, but something about Oswald really got my husband hooked. You can see a pic of the kitty at the top of my webpage, if you like.

I live in Cologne, which is in Germany. The town was heavily bombed in the wars and not a single street was planned out logically, so the whole town looks like it was thrown together out of different places. It is beautiful when the sun is shining, and depressing when it is cold. Especially in the heart of the town, the mood when it's grey can get you really down. 8D You should visit us sometime, it is worth a day!

Something about me: I live in Emmaus, PA, which is just outside of Allentown. Billy Joel wrote a song called "Allentown" about Allentown, except it's actually about the neighboring city of Bethlehem (talking about how the Bethlehem Steel Plants were closing down in the 80's.) Emmaus, Bethlehem, Nazareth are all neigboring towns fouinded by Mennonites.

ReplyDeleteHi, I am born and bred in Sweden, in a place called Lulea which is about 2 hours south of the polar circle. In summer the sun never sets and in winter we have about 2-3 hrs of sunlight in the middle of the day. Despite this it is not dark due to all the snow and it's reflective capabilities. Now however I live in Perth, Australia, on the other side of the world where we have no snow (although we did have a massive hail storm a few weeks ago with golf ball sized hail).

ReplyDeleteHey Sheila, I'm Wendi, from Florida. We live in Pensacola and just seem to be holding our breath hoping the oil doesn't wash up on our beautiful beaches. I am a brand new (5 months) grandma with the most beautiful granddaughter ever! It is so fun to sew for her. I've spent the last year or so rediscovering how much fun sewing, quilting and crocheting are. Now that my nest is empty, I'm having a great time! Thanks for participating in the giveaway. It's been fun to find all the great blogs and share everyone's creative ideas!
