Have you given any thought to your 2010 Challenge Word?
It is almost eerie how little things will pop up in my life (like this pic on flickr) to remind me of my challenge and get me thinking about it again.
While I haven't been working on it as actively as I probably should be (for my own mental health) it has been on my mind......
And even though I don't consider myself a religious person, Easter brought to mind a quote that even I know (with my limited knowledge of the Bible)
“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34)
And so I continue to ask for strength in my journey to forgive......
Great point.
ReplyDeleteAlways better to have faith in God, then to be religious.
Blessings,
Jilly
Forgiveness isn't just for the one forgiven. It is also for the forgiver.
ReplyDelete"When I forgave I set a prisoner free. And, I came to find the prisoner was me."
I love this word...it is definitely a lightening of whatever load we are carrying to forgive. Thank you for this post!
