Gobble, Gobble!!

So, I finally finished my entry into the Moda Gobble Gobble Challenge!!

I started out with a layer cake and a turnover of the Gobble Gobble fabric and the templates from the Moda website.

I cut out some strips for my pumpkin and sewed them all together and auditioned it on the background fabric I had chosen..... didn't look too bad!

Then I added the hourglass blocks. I played around with a couple of ideas but finally decided to add some stars and a moon, and "boo!"

Looks pretty good........? Still have to quilt it, but not too bad for a first effort.



Now to post it on Pat's flickr group and wait to see the other entries!


Maybe this small project will get me going on some others in my to-do pile!! :)
