Today is the 17th annual Spay Day — a worldwide event organized by The HSUS and Humane Society International, in partnership with the Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association — to promote sterilization of dogs and cats as a means of reducing euthanasia and pet overpopulation.

Makes Me Happy Monday 2/21

Today I am SO thankful for people who take their job seriously and take pride in completing a job well.

The phone technician that came out to my house today to fix my phone and internet was amazing! He found the problem that the DSL technician could not. He was SO courteous and professional and spent almost 3 hours diagnosing and fixing the issue (the wires were crossed at the main box after someone new moved into the neighborhood and my phone number got changed instead!)

I only wish everyone would feel the same way about their job!

Hard to believe, but today is the 100th day of school! Although not really celebrated in Middle Schools, it is a BIG deal in the elementary schools.

And I am thrilled to have made it this far! We are past the half way mark, only 80 more days to go.
